What time are check-ins and check-outs?

• Check-in from 4pm until 10pm.

  As we don’t have a 24/24h reception, we’d appreciate you letting us know your approximate time of arrival.
  If your room is ready before check-in time we’ll let you know and an earlier check-in will be possible.

• Check-out until 11am.

What’s included in the rate?

• Bed linen, towels and pool towels.

• Wireless charger, water bottle, hairdryer, some toiletries, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, pillow mist, welcome book & a gift.

• Access to the pool, gym & yoga room.

• Two bicycles per room with locks.

• Free wifi.

What’s NOT included in the rate?

• Tourism tax - €0.83 per person per night.

• Drinks at the bar (beer, wine & soft drinks).

• Beach towels.

• Surf lessons & rentals, massages & yoga classes.

• Personal laundry is available at an extra cost.

Can I use the kitchen?

• Yes, you can use the kitchen outside breakfast times.
  Each room has a dedicated shelf in the pantry and in the fridge.
  Only rule is to clean after yourself, your mom is not here and other guests might want to use the kitchen too.

Are there other rules?

• Quiet times 10pm - 8am.

• No parties allowed.

• Music, loud conversations and dinners should be kept at a minimum after 10pm (outside & inside).

• If you’re an early riser or a late owl, discreetness is appreciated.

• We love our furry friends but pets are not welcome.

• Please respect the neighbourhood.

Are children accepted?

• We don’t allow children under the age of 7.
  The house might not be adapted to welcome younger children and some parts of the house are not as soundproof as a hotel.
  Thank you for your understanding.

• Rooms are double rooms only except the San Pancho room (additional bed on demand only - please contact us).

When do I have to pay and can I cancel my booking?

• A credit card will be needed for every booking. No prepayments needed.

• Payments can be made whenever you like before or during check-out. We accept all credit and bank cards or cash. We do not accept checks. Wire transfers are accepted on demand.

• Percentages due based on total amount in case of cancellation:

  0% cancelation fee if cancelled 60 days or more before date of arrival.

  50% cancelation fee if cancelled in between 60 days and 16 days of arrival date.
  100% cancelation fee if cancelled in between 15 days and the date of arrival or in case of no-show.

  We thank you for your understanding.

  We guarantee a full refund in case of force majeure not allowing us to welcome you.

Can I organise a yoga/surf retreat? Or book the full house?

• Yes, you can. Actually we’re very used to welcoming all kinds of retreats at Villa Sayulita.
  Please contact us and we’ll provide you with a document containing all the necessary information.
  From accommodations to surf lessons to private chefs, we’ve got you covered!

• Private bookings are also possible, depending on availability. 10-11 guests maximum.

What about surf lessons & rentals?

• Glad you asked! Our partners in crime for everything surf related is our beloved Lost Surf School. Pierre, Cécile & their amazing team will welcome you at their beautiful wooden cabana on the beach of l’agréou (Seignosse le Penon).

What’s the distance to the beach? To Hossegor? And how do I get there?

• Villa Sayulita is located in a quiet neighbourhood of Seignosse, approximately 8 minutes from the beach by car.

• By car you’ll reach most beaches in 8-10 minutes, la Zone Pédebert in 5 minutes and Hossegor center in 10 minutes.

• Seignosse, Hossegor & Capbreton are blessed with amazing bike lanes. Most of them independent from the main roads.
  You’ll reach the beach in approximately 15-20min by bike, same for Hossegor center.

• Biarritz is a 30 minute drive, San Sebastian in Spain 60 minutes.

Is there AC?

• Yes, the house is equipped with a reversible AC system. Our three upstairs rooms (Tulum, Rio Lagartos & Puerto Escondido) have AC.
  Downstairs there’s AC in the hallway but not inside the rooms. These rooms are naturally fresh in summer and electric heaters are provided for early and end of season.

• We do reserve the right to switch the general system on or off depending on outside temperatures.

Is the pool heated?

• Yes, we will heat up the pool as long as the outside temperatures (low night temperatures) allow us to do so. Usually we start heating up the pool beginning of May and we leave it on all season long.

What about bringing our own alcohol?

• Our bar is stocked with local beers, wine (red, white & rosé) and a selection of soft drinks. These drinks or for sale at a reasonable price and for this reason we do not accept outside alcohol. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I use the barbecue and pizza oven by myself?

Yes & no.

• You may use the barbecue but the pizza oven is reserved for special evenings only.

Where do I park?

• We have three parking spots inside the property. First come, first served. Everybody gets a gate key to enter the property.
  Otherwise you may park outside - on the side of the house only please. We’re at the end of a dead end street, it’s super safe.

I plan on coming without a car, is this a good idea?

• If you like biking around, yes absolutely!

• Free YEGO busses are available to bring you to the beach or city if it’s raining or you don’t feel like biking.

• Taxis are available from all main train stations and airports. Contact us if you need help with this.
  Closest train station is St. Vincent de Tyrosse.
